Augustus “Goosie” Tanoh is an accomplished international businessman, lawyer, and public servant with extensive experience across both the public and private sectors. He has spearheaded development programmes in primary healthcare, community enterprises and infrastructure.
Mr Tanoh pioneered the export of non-traditional Ghanaian commodities, including cassava chips, groundnuts, and hibiscus flowers to Europe, and palm kernels to Nigeria, capitalising on ECOWAS trade agreements. His commodity trading companies have established integrated supply chains that have benefited thousands of farmers by way of improved livelihoods, increased farm household incomes and generated millions of dollars in export revenue.
He has held executive roles in several local and international companies.
Currently, Mr Goosie Tanoh serves as the Presidential Adviser, responsible for advancing the 24-Hour Economy and Accelerated Export Development Programme of His Excellency John Dramani Mahama’s current administration. In this role, he leads initiatives to transform local production, manufacturing, and human capital development, fostering a more resilient and prosperous economy for all Ghanaians.

Mr. Kyeretwie Opoku is the Coordinator of the 24-Hour Economy and Accelerated Export Development Secretariat in Ghana, where he leads teams to roll out the 24-hour Economy and Accelerated Export Development national economic transformation initiative. His professional background combines extensive legal experience, deep knowledge of the energy sector, and a strong commitment to sustainable development.
Mr. Opoku is a lawyer. He also possesses extensive knowledge of Ghana's oil and gas industry. He has served as an assistant to the chairman of the Ghana National Petroleum Corporation and was a Member of the Board of Directors for the corporation. He has also served as a director of Quantum Power Ghana Gas, an affiliate working on LNG infrastructure developments.
He is passionate about Africa’s development, African unification, Pan-Africanism, and solidarity across West Africa.
His interests also span environmental and forestry governance, where he works as an analyst and contributor to the Forest Governance Learning Group (FGLG) in Ghana. He co-authored initiatives aimed at driving just forest policies and community-led impacts.
Abdul-Nasser Alidu Suglo

Abdul-Nasser Suglo Alidu is a strategy, commercial and finance professional with over 20 years of international experience spanning the private sector, development, and public policy.
He has held senior roles at Dell Inc, where he led the Small Business Desktops portfolio for North America, and at Millicom, where he launched Ghana’s first mobile health insurance product and later served as Director of Marketing for Africa.
As the founding Director of Entrepreneurship at the Ghana Climate Innovation Centre, he helped establish the country’s first climate business incubation programme. As CEO of The Little Cow Consulting Limited, he has delivered strategy and transformation projects for organisations including Grundfos, Bank of Kigali, WISHH, GIZ, Africa CDC, Standard Chartered, and GCB Bank.
He currently serves as the Chief Programme Officer the 24-Hour Economy Secretariat under the Office of the President, Republic of Ghana. He is also a Commissioner of the National Development Planning Commission (NDPC) and a Member of the Governing Council of the University of Cape Coast (UCC).
Abdul-Nasser holds an MBA in Finance, Strategy, and Marketing from the Kellogg School of Management, Northwestern University and a BSc in Computer Science and Economics from the University of Ghana. He is a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Marketing (UK).

Dr. Ishmael Nii Dodoo

Dr. Ishmael Nii A. Dodoo is the Chief Partnership Officer of the 24 Hour Economy and Accelerated Export Development Authority under the Office of the President of the Republic of Ghana. He is a development strategist and international partnerships specialist with extensive experience in innovative finance, investment mobilisation, economic transformation, international development cooperation and strategic partnerships. Prior to his current appointment, he served as senior UN Diplomat with assignments in the Executive Office of the UN secretary General, Sahel region, and over 36 countries with UNDP Africa Bureau in New York, UN HQ. Dr. Dodoo has worked with international development and multilateral institutions and has extensive experience in building partnerships for sustainable economic and social development. He is passionate about private-sector-led growth, industrialisation, digital transformation, value addition, export development and job creation. In his current role, he leads efforts to forge strategic partnerships with the private sector, development partners, investors, international institutions, academia and other stakeholders to mobilise the resources, expertise and investments required to deliver Ghana's 24-hour economy and accelerated export-development agenda.
He holds BSc First Class Honors Degree from KNUST and advance degree in environmental change and management from the prestigious University of Oxford, UK. He is also doctoral fellow of strategic leadership from Oral Roberts University
Joe Onyame

Mr. Joe Onyame serves as the Head of Land, Community and Spatial Intelligence Department, often referred to as the Chief Community & Lands Officer, at the 24-Hour Economy Secretariat.
His work focuses on advancing national sustainability, attracting community-level investments, facilitating land access, and driving job creation. In his role, he is involved in initiatives that seek to strengthen community participation, unlock land for strategic investments and support sustainable economic development.
Before his appointment to the Secretariat, Mr. Onyame built a prominent profile as a dedicated “Citizen Vigilante” and public advocate, with a strong interest in transparency, anti-corruption, and institutional accountability within both the corporate and public governance sectors.
He famously filed writs at the Commercial Division of the High Court against entities such as the Ghana Community Network Services Limited (GCNET) and the Ghana Revenue Authority (GRA), demanding comprehensive structural audits and measures to protect state revenue.
Beyond his public advocacy and governance work, Mr. Onyame is a self-made entrepreneur with interests in fishing and the export of agro-commodities. He was also an integral part of the team that pioneered the export of cassava chips in Ghana, contributing to efforts to promote Ghanaian agricultural commodities in international markets.
Mr. Onyame holds a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in Sociology and Law. His diverse experience in public advocacy, governance, entrepreneurship, agriculture, community engagement, farmer engagement and mobilization, and land-related matters continues to inform his work in supporting investment, community development, sustainability and job creation under the 24-Hour Economy agenda.

- Gabriel Opoku-Asare is a seasoned global business leader, corporate affairs strategist, and public policy expert with over two decades of C-suite and senior government leadership across Africa, Europe, Asia, and North America, spanning consumer goods, technology, financial services, and economic development.
- He currently serves as Chief Export Development Officer at the 24 Hours Authority (Office of the President), where he provides strategic direction and national-level coordination for Ghana's non-traditional export (NTE) acceleration agenda under the 24-Hour Economy (24H+) framework, driving toward the US$10bn NTE target by 2030. He also serves as an Advisory Member of the Presidential Committee for Accelerated Export Development (PCAED), advising the President on mobilising state and institutional support for the programme.
- Before joining government, Gabriel built a global corporate affairs career with Diageo plc, holding progressively senior roles across North America, Southeast Asia, and Africa, and led corporate and government relations for major FMCG operations in Ghana with Guinness Ghana Breweries and Unilever.

Gillian Heathcote

Served as the Head of Corporate Communications at Media General, where she led public relations strategies, brand positioning, and corporate affairs for several of Ghana's largest media subsidiaries, including Onua TV and Onua FM. She has notably fronted major corporate and legal communications defending the editorial and business independence of the media house.
Spent a significant portion of her career at Stratcomm Africa, working alongside prominent industry figures like CEO Esther Cobbah. She rose through the ranks from Senior Communications Manager to General Manager. During her tenure, she received long-service and loyalty awards presented by Ghana's Ministry of Gender, Children and Social Protection.
Throughout her career, she has led communication teams advising major local and international organizations across critical sectors, including Oil and Gas, Agriculture, Telecommunications, Power, Aviation, and Banking.
Dr. Al-Hassan Adam
Social Policy Advisor

Dr Al-hassan Adam is our Social Policy Advisor. In his role, he makes sure that our investments returns are for capital, environment and society. The 24H+ investment model departs from the business as usual financing models where the most important determine for an investment is how much return on investment can be achieved while ignoring the impact on environment and society. Dr Adam also leads on our work on cooperatives where we simultaneously working towards a new national cooperative law and policy as well as mobilising farmers and creative sector into viable cooperative movements.
Before joining 24H+ Dr Adam worked as Senior Research Fellow at the Public Services International Research Unit (PSIRU), University of Greenwich, London. Dr Adam’s research interest is in the financing of public service, with a particular interest in private equity and venture capital. His research focuses on the practical applications of institutional theory, social capital and power between state, private companies and society in the context of public service financing. He employs multimethod research approach which combines qualitative and quantitative methods as primary tools of inquiry.
Dr Adam also worked in the development sector both in England and Ghana where he worked with WaterAid, Oxfam and Civic Response. He has also worked as an independent consultant for local and international institutions such as Global Economic Governance Programme at the University of Oxford and ProNatura International.
Dr Adam likes to soak himself in natural be it at the forest, grassland, beach or tundra.
Louis Quarcoo

Louis Quarcoo is a retired career civil servant with nearly 38 years of experience in public sector management. He served as Director of Cabinet at the Office of the President in 2009 and as Director of Finance and Administration at the National Development Planning Commission in 2014. He retired in 2018 as Chief Director at the Office of the Head of the Civil Service.
He holds a Master’s degree in Public Sector Management from the Ghana Institute of Management and Public Administration (GIMPA), awarded in 2009, as well as a second Master’s degree in Research and Public Policy Analysis from the University of Ghana.
Mr. Quarcoo currently serves as Head of Administration and Strategic Support Services at the 24-Hour Economy Secretariat, with specific responsibility for finance, procurement, human resource management, and general services.

Currently serves as the Head of Sector Strategy & Integration at the 24-Hour Economy & Accelerated Export Development (24H+) Secretariat.
In this high-profile national policy role, he operates as a core leader alongside top directors to design performance-based incentives and drive structural economic reforms that ensure an enabling environment for private-sector operators.
Simultaneously, he leads all Sub-Programmes and sectors of the Secretariat to ensure integrated value chain delivery, focusing on entrenching the use of renewable energy and circular economy practices to drive net-zero transformational development within the Volta Economic Corridor and nationwide.
Charles brings on board, over three decades of cross-cultural project design and execution across Africa, Europe, Asia, and the Americas.
